Never Too Late

Authors Note: I believe that Hyde’s physical appearance symbolizes more than what meets the eye. I think it’s a lot deeper than that. This poem represents what I feel when I read about his looks and my belief that there is some good in everyone and anyone can change their life around for the better. It is Never too late.

Scrawny, horizontally challenged, and deformed
Closer to the ground for a reason
To be nearer to the place he truly belongs
A dark place where no soul wishes to go

Devilish
He is hell
Nothing is so dark and evil
Nothing so contrast to heaven

Evil eyes that can devour your soul
With just one glance, your blood will curdle
A stare that none can overpower
But power is what you make it to be

Take control of what runs through your veins
The rush, the rage, the wickedness
Fight it back and take control
For only you will ever know

No more evil
No more Hell
Only love, peace, and time will tell

Transform yourself
And be the good
For all is broken
Until you find the true you and all is finally understood
